Our first pond plants of the new season have arrived ! Currently in stock are 1 litre marginals, 3 litre marginals and planted contour baskets. The first of the new season Water Lilies arrived on the 16th April and we expect weekly top-ups going forward. Water soldiers are ready to go as are ramshorn snails.
A couple of years ago we changed our supplier of pond plants to one based in Cheshire that, in our opinion and those of our customers, offers some really healthy and very high quality pond plants. Their lilies are excellent and available in sizes to suit every sized pond from miniature to large. The marginal plants we source from them are supplied in 1 litre pots and are ok to put out straight away without replanting. However, we also stock aquatic compost and plant baskets should you want to save yourself some time in the future.
Our suppliers will also plant up baskets for us; particularly popular are the contour baskets with 3-4 plants already present and covered in protective gravel which look fantastic.
Oxygenators can be provided in bunches or some varieties, such as water crowfoot (Ranunculus aquatilis) are available in bunches.
